The year we are living in will go down in history for the amount of changes it is bringing. Not only the new habits that he proposes in our daily routine , at work, at home, with friends, with the family ... But also some demands that we are all meeting in our day to day life, and that we must also respect in our lives. vacation

 

And it is that 2021 is a necessary year of vacation. For a few months, life at home has unfolded, from being a home to being an office, a school and, in some cases, even a makeshift gym! We have teleworked, reinforced the tasks of father / mother and teacher ... In short, they have been tough months that have demanded new commitments and that make, now, we deserve a break , but with responsibility!

 

New habits, social distancing, the use of masks or frequent hand washing should become a routine both inside and outside the home. We are in an atypical year, full of new and unimaginable commitments ... but also, facing a new opportunity to learn new things and understand that the common good depends on individual commitment .

 

At Landmar Hotels we have made an effort to have everything ready so that you can come and discover the best of the Costa de los Gigantes, in the south of Tenerife : the landscape formed by the cliffs, the beaches and bathing areas where you can rest or practice endless activities… Above all, we are clear that the best way to experience it is with the family; For this reason, we suggest you spend a few days with the little ones in complete safety, sharing games and activities in our swimming pools and facilities.

 

We want you to enjoy these well-deserved family vacations with complete peace of mind, so we are going to share with you the work we have done during these months of preparation to have all the safety, cleaning and hygiene protocols in place against covid-19 .

 

At Landmar Hotels, we have worked intensively to adapt our facilities and services to the protocols of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, validated by the Ministry of Health, and adapted to the sector by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) in coordination with the Secretary of State for Tourism.

 

In addition, along with this adaptation, we have involved our staff in this new reality, creating our own team specialized in complying with the protocols and carrying out training for our hotel workers.

 

Thanks to all this work, we can now say that we have the “Safe Tourism Certified” certification , which has been awarded to us by the ICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality) and which guarantees compliance with the highest safety standards against the pandemic. And not only that! We have also obtained the “Global Safe Site” certification from Bureau Veritas for complying with good practices against covid-19, which allow us to guarantee not only the quality and well-being of the client, but also their safety, that of their loved ones and that of our employees.

 

At Landmar Hotels we wanted to take advantage of the months in which we were closed to make reforms and changes to our facilities. Thus, we have expanded the size of the pools and restructured the arrangement of the hammocks to ensure a separation of 2 meters at all times, as well as the rest of the tables and furniture in all the common areas of our hotels.

We also have special disinfection protocols - chairs, tables, loungers, accessories and any item available to customers are constantly disinfected with certified products - and hydroalcoholic gel dispensers available to our customers in easily accessible areas.

 

Cleaning and sanitizing rooms is also a key aspect. We have trained our teams in the new disinfection measures according to the STIQK Process certification , a system that ensures perfect room hygiene and guarantees the well-being of both clients and workers. The rooms are sealed after each cleaning and all the elements of habitual use sealed to guarantee their cleaning and disinfection.

 

We have applied, therefore, all the necessary measures, both those set by the Public Administration and those proposed by specialists in certification and cleaning; In addition to our own measures that we have adopted, such as the adaptation of spaces, the training of employees or the creation of teams that guarantee compliance with the established protocols.

 

As we were advancing you, our entire team is strongly committed to your safety and that of everyone ; For this reason, virus detection tests have been carried out on our staff prior to starting their activity and, every 15 days, random tests are carried out on a part of the staff, which allows us to maintain the commitment to ensure health and tranquility of all. We view this as an individual and common responsibility that creates a collective commitment, and we understand the value of working on behalf of our clients and employees.
